The Slovenian Heritage Society of St. Stephen is rooted in one of America's most remarkable stories — the oldest Slovenian settlement in the United States, where immigrants from the old country first arrived in the mid-1800s and built something that has lasted over 150 years.

At the heart of our vision is this land — passed down through families since the earliest days of that settlement, and now the future home of a park that will honor that legacy. Inspired by the deep Slovenian love of nature and green spaces, we are creating a gathering place where community, culture, and the outdoors come together.
